Jonathan Weaver has become the latest player to confirm they will appear in the Steve Lee testimonial tournament.
Weaver joins Jordan Fox, Matt Francis and David Ling on the roster for the SL45 All-Stars tournament at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Tuesday 30th October (7:30pm).
The Sunderland-born defenceman spent two seasons with the Panthers, winning the Elite League title, playoff championship and Challenge Cup in 2012-13 before helping the Panthers retain the Challenge Cup in 2013-14.
Weaver said: “I had two amazing years in Nottingham and they are memories that will live with me forever.
“Winning the Elite League title after the club had waited so long was very, very special.
“It was an honour to play with Stevie and he really deserves his testimonial. I am thrilled to be coming back to Nottingham to take part in the tournament.”
Lee added: “Jonathan is a class defenceman and his record speaks for itself. He played such a major part in our success, especially the year we won the league title.
“I am so happy he has agreed to take part and I am sure the fans are excited to see him on the ice again.”
Tickets for the SL45 All-Stars tournament are priced at £14 adults, £12 concession (seniors 60+, students with suitable ID, disabled/carers and teens 13 to 17) and £5 for children.
